Eligibility Criteria

The age limit for both posts is 25 to 35 years as on 1 August 2026. Applicable relaxation is available for eligible reserved categories: five years for SC/ST candidates, three years for OBC candidates in the Non-Creamy Layer, and 10 years for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities, subject to the conditions in the detailed notification.

Manager–AI/ML Engineer

Candidates should hold a full-time B.E./B.Tech degree in Computer Science, IT, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, or Data Science with at least 50% marks. Alternatively, relevant MCA, M.Tech, or M.E. qualifications with 50% marks are accepted.

Applicants must also have at least three years of post-qualification experience in areas such as AI, Generative AI, Natural Language Processing, or content-analysis projects. Certifications in Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, NLP, or Machine Learning are preferred. The stated skill expectations include Python, R, neural networks, NLP, Kafka, Spark, and Big Data technologies.

Manager–Cyber Security

For the Cyber Security Manager post, candidates need a full-time B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or Electronics and Communication with at least 50% marks. Relevant MCA, M.Tech, or M.Sc. qualifications are also accepted.

This role requires a minimum of three years’ hands-on experience in offensive cyber security, Red Team operations, AI Red Teaming, penetration testing, or LLM-security evaluation. Unlike the AI/ML post, certification is mandatory. Candidates must possess any one of the listed credentials, including OSCP, OSCE³, OSWE, OSEP, GIAC GPEN/GXPN, CAISP, SANS Offensive AI, or SANS GenAI & LLM Security certification.

Application Fee and Salary

The application fee is ₹175 for SC, ST, and PwBD applicants. Candidates from all other categories must pay ₹850. The amount should be paid online while completing the application process.

Selected candidates will be placed in the MMGS-II pay scale:

₹64,820 − 2,340 / 1−67, 160−2, 680 / 10 − ₹93,960

Besides basic pay, the selected Managers will receive applicable allowances and benefits such as Dearness Allowance, HRA or lease accommodation, City Compensatory Allowance, medical facilities, and other benefits under UCO Bank rules.

The recruitment terms also specify a one-year probation period. Selected candidates must serve the Bank for at least two years; leaving before completion of that service obligation can attract a bond amount of ₹2 lakh.

Selection Process and Application Steps

The final selection process may include one or more of the following stages, depending on the number of applications received:

  • Screening of applications based on eligibility, qualification, and experience.
  • Online written examination, if conducted by the Bank.
  • Group Discussion, if applicable.
  • Personal interview.
  • Document verification.

UCO Bank will prepare the merit list according to marks obtained in the applicable selection stages. In a tie, the older candidate will be ranked higher, as stated in the recruitment details.

To apply online, candidates should visit the official UCO Bank website, open the Career or Recruitment Opportunities section, locate Advertisement No. HO/HRM/RECR/2026-27/COM-01, and use the online application link. After new registration, applicants should fill in all details accurately, upload documents in the prescribed format, pay the correct fee, review the completed form, and take a printout of the submitted application for future reference.

Before applying, keep scanned copies of your photograph, signature, educational certificates, experience certificates, caste/EWS/PwBD documents where applicable, valid ID proof, and required professional certifications ready. For these highly specialised posts, experience and certification documents are especially important during scrutiny and document verification.
