Salary, bond and selection
The Wealth Executive role is in JMG/S-I, with a pay scale of ₹48,480 to ₹85,920. Credit Analyst–C&IC is in MMG/S-II, with a pay scale of ₹64,820 to ₹93,960. In addition to basic pay, selected officers will receive applicable allowances, perquisites, and benefits under the Bank’s policies and banking-sector settlements.
Selected candidates will undergo a one-year probation period. They must also execute a service bond:
- JMG/S-I: Serve for at least three years, or pay three months’ gross salary, subject to a ceiling of ₹2 lakh.
- MMG/S-II: Serve for at least three years, or pay three months’ gross salary, subject to a ceiling of ₹3 lakh.
The selection process may involve application scrutiny, an online test, psychometric assessment, group discussion, interview, or multiple interview rounds. Meeting the minimum eligibility requirement does not guarantee an interview call, as BOB may shortlist applicants based on qualifications, relevant experience, domain knowledge, performance in tests, and overall suitability.
If an online examination is held, it is tentatively structured as follows:
| Test | Questions | Marks | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| English Language | 20 | 20 | 20 minutes |
| Reasoning Ability & Quantitative Aptitude | 20 | 20 | 20 minutes |
| General / Economic & Banking Awareness | 20 | 20 | 20 minutes |
| Professional Knowledge | 60 | 60 | 60 minutes |
| Total | 120 | 120 | 120 minutes |
English, reasoning/quantitative aptitude, and banking awareness are qualifying sections; professional knowledge is particularly important for merit consideration. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. The final test date, if conducted, will be announced separately.
