The vacancy count is tentative and may be increased or reduced at AAI’s discretion. Reservation is applicable for UR, EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, and PwBD categories as per Government of India rules.
AAI Recruitment 2026 Eligibility
Educational qualifications differ according to the post. Candidates must ensure that their degree, specialization, experience, and age meet the requirements as on the cut-off date, 7 September 2026.
- Manager (Civil/Electrical): Bachelor’s degree in relevant Engineering/Technology discipline along with three years of post-qualification experience.
- Manager (Finance): MBA/PGDM in Finance, CA, CMA, or CFA with three years of relevant Finance and Accounts experience.
- Manager (IT): BE/B.Tech in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT or Electronics, or MCA, with three years of relevant experience.
- Manager (Law): Regular three-year LLB after graduation or five-year integrated LLB, with three years’ experience.
- Manager (Operations/Commercial): Relevant Science + MBA or Engineering qualification, along with post-qualification experience in the specified field.
- Junior Executive posts: Relevant degree or professional qualification is required; no work experience is prescribed for the notified Junior Executive roles.
For Junior Executive (Operations), candidates need a Science graduation with a two-year regular MBA, or a regular Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Junior Executive (Survey & Cartography) applicants need Civil Engineering or a relevant postgraduate degree such as Geography, Remote Sensing and GIS, Geo-informatics, or Geomatics.
AAI Age Limit 2026
The maximum age limit is calculated as on 7 September 2026:
- Manager: Maximum 32 years
- Junior Executive: Maximum 27 years
Age relaxation of five years is available for SC/ST candidates, three years for OBC-NCL candidates, and up to ten years for eligible PwBD candidates. Other relaxations for ex-servicemen and eligible AAI employees are applicable as specified in the official notification.
AAI Salary 2026
Selected candidates will receive attractive PSU pay scales along with DA, HRA, perks, CPF, gratuity, medical benefits, and other admissible allowances.

AAI Selection Process 2026
The AAI selection process begins with a Computer-Based Test (CBT) for every notified post. There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers in the CBT.
