Eligibility and stipend
- Indian nationals with a First Class B.E./B.Tech in the applicable discipline can apply; relevant higher qualifications, valid GATE/NET scores, and qualifying experience may apply under specific selection pathways.
- Maximum age is 28 years as on 13 August 2026; relaxation applies to eligible SC/ST/OBC-NCL candidates as per Government rules.
- B.E./B.Tech-only candidates receive ₹31,000 per month + HRA; candidates qualifying through specified higher-qualification or experience routes receive ₹37,000 per month + HRA.
Selection process
Candidates with a valid GATE score, qualifying IIT/NIT M.E./M.Tech credentials, or specified GATE/NET-based M.Sc routes may be considered through interview only. Other eligible pathways involve a written test followed by interview; the test syllabus is aligned with the relevant GATE discipline and includes negative marking.

- Visit the official ADA website and complete online registration for the relevant engineering discipline by 13 August 2026, 5:00 PM.
- Download and fill the prescribed application form separately.
- Affix a recent photograph and keep original plus self-attested copies of academic, caste, experience, GATE/NET, Aadhaar, and other applicable documents ready.
- Attend the written test/interview in Bengaluru on the date announced by ADA. Online registration alone is not treated as the complete application; the filled form and documents must be produced at the venue.
