Eligibility criteria
Educational qualification
Any one of the following (as per post and institute):
- B.Sc (Hons) Nursing / B.Sc Nursing from a recognized institute, and registration as Nurse & Midwife with State Nursing Council.
- Post-Basic B.Sc Nursing, with registration as Nurse & Midwife.
- Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) plus at least 2 years’ experience in a hospital with minimum 50 beds, and registration as Nurse & Midwife.
- M.Sc Nursing is generally accepted as eligible where basic nursing qualification and registration criteria are fulfilled.
Age limit
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Maximum age: 30 years (for most general category posts, as per AIIMS rules).
- Upper age relaxation: As per Government/AIIMS norms for SC, ST, OBC, PwD, Ex-servicemen, and other reserved categories.
