The academic requirement is discipline specific. For example, technical candidates should ensure that their engineering, mining or relevant professional qualification matches the discipline notified by HCL. HR, Finance and Materials & Contracts applicants should also verify the exact professional qualification, experience profile and functional exposure required in the official notification before applying.

How to Apply Offline

HCL has specified an offline-only application process for this recruitment drive. Applicants cannot submit an online form, email application, fax or hand-delivered application.

Follow these steps:

  1. Visit the HCL Careers page on the official Hindustan Copper Limited website and download the detailed notification and the prescribed application proforma, listed as Annexure-I.
  2. Read the notification completely, especially the discipline-specific eligibility, age calculation, experience criteria and document list.
  3. Fill out the application form in the prescribed format. It may be typed or completed neatly by hand.
  4. Attach self-attested supporting documents that establish eligibility, including qualification certificates, work-experience proof, identity proof, category or disability certificates where applicable, and other records required under paragraph 10(iv) of the notification.
  5. If currently employed in a PSU or Government organisation, follow the NOC instructions. The notification permits candidates who intend to produce the NOC at interview stage to apply provisionally without enclosing it initially, subject to the stated conditions.
  6. Clearly superscribe the envelope with the post name, cadre and grade for which you are applying.
  7. Send the complete application only by Registered Post, Speed Post or Courier so that it reaches HCL no later than 8 October 2026.

Applications should be addressed to:

Executive Director (HR)
Hindustan Copper Limited
Tamra Bhavan, 1, Ashutosh Chowdhury Avenue
Kolkata – 700019

The application must reach the above address by the closing date; candidates should therefore dispatch it well before the deadline rather than relying on last-day delivery.

Selection Process and Documents

HCL will select eligible candidates through a Personal Interview. If the number of eligible applications is higher than the interview zone, the company may shortlist candidates based on the criteria specified in the notification.

Candidates called for interview should be prepared to present original documents for verification. These generally include:

  • Date-of-birth proof, such as Class 10 certificate or school-leaving certificate.
  • Class 12 marksheet and certificate.
  • Graduation, post-graduation or professional qualification certificates and marksheets.
  • Experience certificates for all organisations mentioned in the application.
  • Supporting proof of employment and remuneration, such as appointment letters, relieving letters, PF statements, Form 16, salary slips and bank statements.
  • NOC and evidence of present or next-below grade for applicants serving in PSU or Government organisations.
  • Valid SC, ST, OBC-NCL, EWS or PwBD certificate, where applicable.
  • A valid photo identity document such as Aadhaar, voter ID, driving licence or passport.

Candidates should preserve a photocopy of the completed application form, copies of all annexures, and the postal/courier receipt. This is particularly important because the recruitment process is offline and HCL will assess applications based on the documents received by the deadline.
