EIL is recruiting experienced modellers for its Instrumentation, Piping, EWS/Safety, Structural, Civil, and Equipment divisions. The initial place of posting is stated as the National Capital Region, although selected candidates may be posted anywhere in India or abroad as required by the organisation.

For most disciplines, EIL has separate position codes for Diploma holders and degree holders. The EWS/Safety post is specifically for Diploma in Chemical candidates meeting the stipulated software and experience requirements. Reservation for PwD candidates is applicable according to Government of India directives; candidates applying under PwD must have at least 40% disability.
Educational Qualification and Experience
Candidates must have secured at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPI in the required minimum educational qualification. Their qualification should have been completed within the prescribed course duration.
- Instrumentation: Diploma in Instrumentation with six years’ relevant experience, or B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc Engineering in Instrumentation with four years’ experience.
- Piping: Diploma in Mechanical with six years’ experience, or B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc Engineering in Mechanical with four years’ experience.
- Structural and Civil: Diploma in Civil with six years’ experience, or B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc Engineering in Civil with four years’ experience.
- Equipment: Diploma in Mechanical with six years’ experience, or B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc Engineering in Mechanical with four years’ experience.
- EWS/Safety: Diploma in Chemical with six years’ relevant experience.
For Instrumentation, Piping, Structural, Civil, and Equipment posts, candidates should preferably have experience in S3D/E3D/CADMATIC software, including at least one year in CADMATIC modelling. For the EWS post, applicants should have experience in AutoCAD and Smart P&ID/CADMATIC for process P&IDs and process diagrams, including at least two years in Smart P&ID or CADMATIC. Civil applicants with experience in roads, storm-water drainage, and underground or above-ground piping modelling will receive preference.
Age Limit and Salary
The maximum age limit is 33 years as on 31 July 2026. EIL has provided relaxations of five years for SC/ST candidates, three years for OBC-NCL candidates, and additional relaxations for eligible PwD and ex-servicemen candidates under applicable rules.
Selected Associate Modellers Group II candidates will receive consolidated monthly remuneration, inclusive of HRA and PF:

Additional benefits include reimbursement of self medical-insurance premium for coverage up to ₹2 lakh per annum, paid leave at two days per completed month, travel allowance for official duty outside the place of posting, GPAI scheme coverage, and reimbursement of eligible out-of-pocket expenses for work beyond standard hours.
EIL Selection Process 2026
EIL will first screen online applications and documents to verify whether candidates meet all educational and experience requirements. Eligible registered applicants will be called for the selection process, with the exact selection date and venue communicated separately through their registered email IDs.
The selection process will be conducted at EIL offices in Delhi, Gurugram, Chennai, Kolkata, and Vadodara. Candidates must report at 8:00 AM and should be prepared for the process to extend up to 8:00 PM or continue to the next day, depending on the number of applicants. Travel and accommodation expenses for selection will not be reimbursed.
